Anthony brings nearly four decades of experience to his role as a nurse practitioner. His healthcare journey began in 1986 as a paramedic for the City of El Paso, where he later advanced into education and program management. After becoming a registered nurse in 2009, he gained broad experience in labor and delivery, surgical recovery, coronary care, and intensive care.
He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, later expanding his expertise with a certification in psychiatric mental health. Since 2019, he has served as a hospitalist nurse practitioner, collaborating closely with physicians to manage the care of complex in-hospital patients.
For over a year, he has been a valued provider, here, at Kidney Consultants of New Mexico, where he delivers compassionate, expert care to patients with complex renal and acute medical needs.
